Cancerbane is a mythical monster in Greek legends. It is commonly portrayed as a multi-headed dog protecting the gates of Hades. In some myths, Cancerbero possesses three heads, while in others it can have up to nine heads. The word "cancerbero" is also used to refer to a fierce and unrelenting protector.
